Volunteer Opportunities: CM Pros Technology

Support asset management on the website and in the association management tool

Validate content migrated from existing website to CitySoft Association Managment tool

Using best practices, document SOPs for hardware and sofware maintenance

Monitor application performance

Evaluate system enhancement requests and upgrades; advise Board and Managment Committee on implementation of requests and upgrades

Provide technical support to all committees to:
- Handle submissions and updating activities on the CM Pros website and ensure integrity of the published content
- Review and resolve operational and technical issues relating to the content’s multiple presences
- Review CM Pros website information architecture and conduct regular user needs analyses
- Collect and document new requirements and enhancements to CM Pros content assets
- Collaborate and develop processes for on-going collaboration with cotent developers and owners
- Apply database, authoring tool and, website tool experience
Technology Manager
Serves as the organization technology expert and manages operations committee to suggest and facilitate technology adoption by CM Pros that enables and optimizes internal operations and communications with internal and external constituencies.

Determines requirements to maintain and enhance technology-enabled services of CM Pros in several primary areas:
- Member enrollment and member management infrastructure
- Technology employed to manage CM Pros web assets
- Member communications infrastructure such as listservs

Serves as technology consultant to other management committee functions, assisting them in enlisting task-specific volunteers for projects that necessitate additional or enhanced technological capabilities
- Actively participates in the development of SOPs for technology use within CM Pros
- Leads CM Pros Technology Resources Committee
- Works with content managers
