The Content Management Lifecycle

The 2008 CM Pros Fall Summit took place on December 2, the day before the Gilbane Conference in Boston, MA.

The CM Pros Fall Summit focused on all aspects of the Content Lifecycle. This highly interactive day put participants in direct contact with senior CMS Practitioners in the industry. The morning started with two keynote addresses followed by a panel of CMS experts that fielded questions from the attendees. The afternoon was devoted to interactive roundtable discussions as participants tackled the challenges presented by CMS in real world applications.   Here are some photos taken during the summit.

What attendees say about the Summit...

"The different format of the CM Pros Summit, with its roundtables and interactive sessions, nicely complemented the Gilbane Conference with its more traditional presentations. The size and format of the CM Pros Summit made it very conducive to networking, which is a main reason for attending such events. I also like that it is prior to the Gilbane Conference, so you can get to know a few people better at the start of the week and then expand your networking from there." Heather Hedden, Hedden Information Management

"The roundtable discussion about the RFP process for a new CMS was full of insights—and humor!  I came away with both key ideas I will bear in mind in the future and a real sense of who the other CM Pros at the table are.  The conversations that come out of these rountable sessions are precisely why I love attending CM Pros Summits: insightful perspectives from people you come to know and trust from really talking with them, pro to pro." Jeff Tarbox, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

“It was a great opportunity for us to engage with the CMS professionals and to identify the issues they deal with in their job.  It gave us many new ideas on how to enhance our product for its daily users.” Eric C. Webb, Kentico Software US
